2021 Summer Concerts in the Park

Cover songs by Frankie Valli and The Beach Boys! This is sure to be another great show with many well known favorites we can all sing along and dance to.

BERKELEY HEIGHTS SENIORS SUMMER BARBECUE

Berkeley Heights Recreation Dept./Commission, partnering with Autumn Lakes will be having a barbecue/picnic for all of our BH Senior friends in the community.

Burgers, hot dogs, potato salad, cold chicken pasta salad, coleslaw, cold broccoli salad, dessert and water will be provided. It is sure to be a very filling lunch day with great fellowship and fun! 

WHEN:         MONDAY, AUGUST 9th (directly following Bingo at town hall)

RAIN DATE: WEDNESAY, AUGUST 11th (following exercise class at town hall)

TIME:            11:15am

WHERE:       411 PLAINFIELD AVE (Lower Columbia Park Pavilion)

WHO:           ALL BERKELEY HEIGHTS SENIORS ARE INVITED!

Registration is required for this event. We will need to plan and be sure to have enough food and water for all guests!

The status of the township fields, courts and playgrounds in Berkeley Heights are as follows:

  • Fields

    • All fields including the GL track are open (County, Township and BOE)

    • Fields must be reserved via the Google Form 

    • Groups should not be using the fields without a reservation.

  • Tennis / Pickleball Courts - Lower Columbia Park 

    • Courts are open for singles, doubles and Pickleball.  

    • Tennis permits & court reservations must be done through Community Pass.  Information and registration for the Town Tennis program are online.

  • Basketball courts - Lower Columbia Park

    • Open for use 

  • Playgrounds

    • Playgrounds open for use

The Berkeley Heights Recreation Department and Commission partners with Berkeley Heights Youth Soccer Club (BHYSC) and the Police Athletic League (PAL) to offer more sport programs.
