Library Board

The Library Board manages and governs the Free Public Library of Berkeley Heights and does all things necessary and proper for the maintenance of the Library, supports the growth of the Library's services to the community, advocates for excellence and adequate funding, devises a strategic plan, assesses the needs of the community and implements responses to those needs.

Apply to Become a Board Volunteer

Submit an application to become a volunteer on the Library Board.

The Township welcomes and encourages residents who have specific experience applicable to each Committee, Board and Commission to apply for available positions. Please note that there are only a few volunteer opportunities available each year as there are staggered terms for members of each Committee, Board and Commission. However, some committees and boards are always in need of extra volunteers for various events throughout the year.
