Board of Health
The Board of Health is responsible for assessing the status of public health in the community, developing policies to address public health needs and assuring that these needs are met.
The Board of Health is also responsible for inspecting and issuing permits to food vendors and related establishments, pet organizations, community pools, and other businesses.
Members of the public who need to submit permit application, payments, or otherwise visit the Board of Health in-person, should see Board of Health Secretary Linda Palumbo in the following locations on the following days:
Tuesdays & Thursdays: Board of Health office, Waster Water Treatment Plant, 29 Snyder Avenue
Mondays, Wednesdays, Fridays: Town Hall, 29 Park Avenue

Meets quarterly; Via Zoom until further notice, 7:30 PM

The Township welcomes and encourages residents who have specific experience applicable to each Committee, Board and Commission to apply for available positions. Please note that there are only a few volunteer opportunities available each year as there are staggered terms for members of each Committee, Board and Commission. However, some committees are always in need of extra volunteers for various events throughout the year.
