Municipal Clerk

Responsibilities

The Municipal Clerk has responsibilities required by New Jersey State Statues which include acting as the Secretary to the Governing Body, Custodian of Records, administering local elections and issuing licenses and permits. Residents may seek guidance from the Clerk’s Office for various services.

The Clerk's office handles a wide variety of services, including but not limited to:

  • Town Council Meeting Agendas
  • Town Council Meeting Minutes
  • Cat / Dog Licenses
  • Parking Permits
  • Solicitor / Canvasser / Scavanger Permits
  • Vital Statistics (Birth, Marriage, Death)
  • Open Public Records Act (OPRA) Requests
  • Raffle Licenses
  • Primary and General Elections
